There was a good deal of discussion on the MIX list between Georg Lukas, Dave Cridland and Kevin Smith.
I've read this thread and have worked to address the questions raised on 0.3 of MIX (PR issued, and so should appear soon). The essence of what is done: 1. Clarified that MUC clients are not going to interoperate with MIX channels. 2. Made clear that no special support is required in the server to which clients connect, but noting how PAM (or a MIX version of PAM) is expected to add value. 3. Moved MIX/MUC co-existence to a new section. Also sorted various small things, and clarified MAM advertising. Comment and discussion welcome, particularly input on the elements marked QUESTION.
