I don't have any problem standardizing thihs, but I would never
implement it myself and don't think the OWS rationale makes any sense.
If I'm going to automate "minimalist data hygiene" I'm the one who has
control over how things are stored on my device; having various remote
users manage when my data times out just doesn't make any sense.
