I think this is a good argument, and you have convinced me. I checked with co-author and we agree that this should stay in MIX core and I will work out the changes to make it work. [Steve Kille] I think it is important to avoid fine grained access control. I think that a user should either have rights to see a node or not. Giving a user partial visibility of a node is fraught with issues. I believe that it is reasonably straightforward to sort out Prefer Hidden without this complex access control. I will aim to sort in the next MIX draft.
