Hi, when XEP-0384 (OMEMO) became experimental last year, it was said that it was to document what was implemented at that time in the real world, based on SignalProtocol. Yet the idea was to continue work on "OMEMO Next" which would address the problematic bits of the current XEP and make it less dependant on libsignal-protocol and its wire format.
Has there been any work on this? Are there any plans about how to continue?
