Kev missed the context on this and asks for the relevant subject line - would
like to see the discussion, but is -1 regardless. Jonas thinks discussion was
on xsf@.
Dave hasn't seen the discussion and it seems non-trivial.
Georg thinks it's overdoing - adding complexity for a very specific corner-case
(but admits to the same crime.)
Kev notes that currently the XEP specifies results may be inexact and thus
recipients must treat them as such, i.e. exact=false. Georg adds that it's
actually exact=maybe.
Kev suggests that adding a SHOULD for new protocol to a Draft XEP needs to be
done carefully.
The author would like to note that the commit message tries to provide a
motivation; Georg considers "may use an optimized algorithm" a rather weak
motivation.

Dave apologises for his extended absence, blaming a less than lucrative career
move as a self-employed accountant, and commits to being more around from now
on.
