what is this Sonnet card...i thought you could not upgrade the processor.... i have a Starmax 5500
The StarMax is what's called "upgrade challenged". You don't upgrade or replace the processor, you go around it by replacing the DIMM cache. Sonnet part numbers are: BG3-400-512 and BG3-400-1M. Newer and Metabox also made cards but now are gone; check eBay for occasional hits.
