Aaron, The double row of power connectors are marked on the board and plugs as I remember, and are also coded with notches or detents so each socket fits only its proper connector. Look at each carefully and you'll see what I mean.
The row at the front of the board are--from the edge of the board going inward-- speaker, power, reset, led, and fan. Fan and speaker should be traceable and obvious what they are connected to. The led plug is coded so you can't reverse it. The power and reset plugs can be mistaken and interchanged except for the fact that they have the names power and reset printed on the plug face. So, working from the edge plug in the fan. Then plug in the power terminal on the first two pins; the reset terminal on the next two, and what's left over in that block is the led connector. The last connection is the speaker. Always look at the pins and then the plug, so that they will match. The CD cable goes to the top IDE socket. The hard drive is connected to the lower IDE socket. Make sure everything is tight, but don't force anything. Look again and see before you bend or break anything. They are all meant to be firmly seated, especially the double power supply plugs and the IDE connectors. Good luck, Bob Wulkowicz -------------------- Aaron wrote: > > I need to reconnect all those litle cables coming from the front panel (fan, >speaker, reset switch, etc.) to the proper places on the logic board.
