I'm in Chicago. I put the sonnet card in myself, as well as ram, etc. I have done simple upgrades myself on many different macs, I've just never tried to fix any broken hardware. I thought that this situation might be a fried power supply or motherboard and take a lot of time. I would have tried to fix this myself but right now I don't have a ton of time as I'm moving in a couple of months.
