OS 9.1 installs with no issues on clone computers, including the
StarMax. The only thing you have to be cautious about is the
CD-ROM driver, which you had to deal with when you installed OS 8.5.
You either used the OS 7.6.1 driver, hacked the OS 8.5 one, installed
a 3rd party product, or have a compatible CD-ROM drive. You do
have to have more RAM to use 9.1 over 8.5, I'm not the expert on
this, but most people report 64MB is OK and 96MB is preferred to run
OS 9.1.
