Can I use an Ethernet card in a Starmax 4200/Newer G3? I now use an ATI video card and a Sonnet USB/Firewire Card. They are in the first 2 slots closest to the mother board. I now want to add ethernet to the system, but am concerned that it might not work if it's put in slot 3, 4, or 5.
Is anyone using this or a similar configuration? I just bought a new PowerMac G4-867, but am not quite ready to give up the Starmax. But, I do need networking via ethernet, and cannot give up the video card or the USB/Firewire capability. I appreciate any thoughts on the matter...
