The icon basically means: Hey, guy, put a disk with an OS on it in a drive for me. Like, a 7.x install floppy or system (7,8,9) on a CD. If you have the OS disk that came with the 3000, putting that in the CD and rebooting would probably do the trick. Then you can format your hard drive (assuming it's there) and then put an OS on it.
