I have the exact external SCSI yamaha, for same amount of time. Works excellent with my SM 5500/200 and I've never had overrun errors (knock on wood). I ALWAYS extract to hard drive first and use Toast 4.1.3 deluxe version as the one that came with it doesn't do DAO. I hear Yamaha and Plextor are the finest.
