        Same here. I read PC burned CD's all the time. Macs can read BOTH PC & 
Mac CD's, and for that matter, floppies and Zip disks as well. PCs, it 
should be noted, cannot read Mac formated disks. I suspect you have 
disabled/deleted one or more extensions for foreign file access. I 
strongly suspect a system software setup problem.

        As to burning them, Toast allows you to burn hybrid data CD's. These 
work fine on both platforms.
