Have you visited www.os9forever.com ?
You "may" have to change your machine Gestalt (ID).
I had to change mine from 514 t0 510.
There are free programs out there, i can't remember all,
but two are wannabe and wishiwere.
Check versiontracker.
My expieriance with changing the gestalt is as follows>

1) It is not permanent.
2) My machine would revert to its original ID every time
on restart or boot.

Therefore i had to change the machine ID each time before
doing anything with 9.2.

Have fun,
jr
