It is most likely for a PC.   If you are sure it is a 3.3V DIMM, then 
the key that is not lining up indicates that the DIMM is buffered 
(the SM require un-buffered DIMMs).   The SM was the only Mac prior 
to the G3's to use 3.3V memory, and the G3's require PC-xx compliant 
memory (SDRAM, 10ns and faster) so what you have is definitely not 
for them.

To buy RAM for a SM, I would start with Other World Computing or any 
good Macintosh centric retailer.   Look for RAM specifically sold as 
for a StarMax or PM 4400 computer.
