Before I attempt something rash, does anyone already have set up, on their StarMax, a modem connected to the serial port which acts as telephone answering machine/fax sender and receiver, AND a broadband modem connected via a USB card for internet use?I had something similar working briefly when I used my Starmax at my previous job to test USB Broadband bridges. The end result was USB wasn't very well suited to broadband, especially on a Classic Mac OS Mac. If at all possible, I very very highly recommend getting an ethernet card and ethernet-based broadband bridge, it'll simplify quite a bit, take a load off the computer, and allow you to use a router or some such later on if you want to.
Thanks in advance.

Don't see any reason why that combination wouldn't work though
