Hi Jim, Found this: Yes, the new IE 5.1 IS an upgrade to IE 5.5b1 that was released at MacHack 2000. I've been using it since then, and it's been a dream. 5.1 also includes a couple features from the OS X version, like the new window when linking from an external app. 5.5b1 also introduced the 'open behind current window' click, which is one reason I dig it so much. To the guy who mentioned quirky selections, look at the text, and see if they use full justification. I've noticed that too, if it's full justified, IE selects on the original location of the text, and not the 'modified' justification view. Also, on some pages with heavy table use, the selection will go bonkers, selecting everything from the top of the page to where you first clicked on the page to start a new selection. I've just confirmed that the full justification thing is still in 5.1, dunno about the other one. And OF COURSE Microsoft doesn't support third party plugins, just like Apple doesn't do support for third party plugins. If it breaks the product, you take it up with the plugin maker, NOT microsoft.
