I see something flashing , any Ideas ?

Thanx,

I think Norton (Disk Doctor or System) has/had a little gadget that displayed disk access. Every time that the disk was accessed (read or write), it would display a little box/disk with an identifier and whether it was reading or writing.

When I had Norton, it was annoying so I turned it off in the control panels. When I had a similar gadget on my Apple //gs, it was slow enough and helpful to know which device I was reading and writing from.

The slow down and freezing? Check the usual culprits, nearly full, fragmented boot disk; less than optimal memory; bloated, inefficient, crummy browser; and useless Control Panels and Extensions. Sounds like a software problem rather than a problem with the StarMax.

Of *course* I'm sure. That doesn't mean that I'm not wrong.
