Hi, I'm new to this list, but I've been a Starmax owner since mid-1997 and was a member of the old Starmax Talk list 5-6 years ago.
My system: Starmax 3000 Sonnet G3 - 300mhz 160 mb RAM Original atapi CD-ROM drive Yamaha 8/4/24 CD-RW internal scsi USB card Logitech USB mouse IBM ps2 keyboard OS 9.1 I'd been using an old Packard Bell 15" CRT with the computer since '97. Anyway, I recently got a deal on a 15.4" widescreen LCD (VGA) with a native resolution of 1280 x 800. And I've been using it with my Starmax for a couple weeks. I really like the display, but my Starmax maxes out at 1024 x 768 @ 256 colors. Needless to say, that resolution leaves a lot to be desired. Ideally, I'd like to find video card that could recognize the 1280 x 800 resolution (via the DDC capability?). Any recommendations?
