You can also use Netscape 4.77 with OS 8.x or 9.x.
However, IE 5.1.7 has some excellent features for web
browsing, such as letting you stack downloads, resume
downloads that are interrupted, and downloading entire
websites using the "Save As Web" option. I find that
IE5.1.7 is so old that it is immune from most of the
current IE viruses since it doesn't handle the newest
Java scripts. And it will access websites that the
Netscape can't.
