I am considering getting a PCI ATA 133 card and
a FireWire card. How much do they now go for and
what would be a good source?

The ATA card will run you about $75-100. Stay away from cards labeled as B&W G3 or later or says PCI 2.2 compliant slot, as they will not work in the StarMax. The Firewire card will run $25-30, with the same warning. Try Other World Computing <http://eshop.macsales.com/> or Small Dog <http://www.smalldog.com/> as both are very good Mac retailers.
