I apologize if this is a rerun. However, since I have not had a reply, I believe I did something incorrectly. I recently replaced the original hard drive in my Starmax 3000 with a 40 gig Western Digital hard drive. At the same time I upgraded to a G3 and installed OS 9.1. What I would like to do now is connect it wirelessly with my G4 which is running Tiger. I am using Verizon DSL with a Westel Versalink wireless router (model 327W) which was supplied by Verizon. This works very well connecting with my wife's Dell laptop. Before my Starmax hard drive failed, the Starmax was the "server" for the internet. The cable (was using Comcast at the time) connected to the Starmax which was connected to a Netgear wireless router. The signal was then sent to the G4 and the laptop. Since the Starmax was "down" for a while, I had the signal from Verizon come to the G4. What I would like to do now is leave the setup the way it is and connect the Starmax wirelessly. I know the Starmax has a builtin ethernet card, but will I have to add something to receive the signal from the wireless router? Incidentally, I do have an Airport Express which I use to connect my printer and my stereo system. Should I be using that instead of the Westel router? Verizon tells me that they do not support Airport Express. Many thanks.
