Humm. I am not clear what is going on other than the list has moved. I do not use my Max to access the internet, gave that up some time back with endless incompatibility software problems and the tech. of the net displacing it. This message is via a bondi iMac G3 running 9.2.2, which is what I run on my StarMax as well, I know, yet this one seems to take (just) it and Max just does not. I am getting a bit bored with Apple and its now endless incompatibility and lack of backwards compatibility. Just got Tiger 10.4.3 for another machine and it almost completely ignores what it got around to calling 'classic,' meaning 9.2.2! If a machine works well, like the Star did and does, you just go with it, not keep endlessly upgrading for the sake of speed. Yet there is the rub. Once you realise that speed has gone well by you and you come out into the light, catching up or making do is a real pain. My max is just pleasurable ol' boy now and I enjoy it cos it is. I still use it for what it does and I do upgrade yet for its sake not the keeping up wih the net stuff. That is soon to be a dot on a horizon for my Max! All the best Michael
