William, we've discussed that possibility here several times, and the
consensus appears to be that if this group is moved to any other form
tham email, many (if not most) of us would drop out. I know I would

delivered automatically to my desktop. I like getting the SN
discussion in my mail. It's friendly and controllable.

I suspect that there are several reasons. The number of emails is
one, but what's so difficult about setting your preference to digest?
You'll get one or two mails a day that way. I use Eudora for mail
rather than that piece of junk from Microsquat, and Eudora can be set
to convert a MIME digest into a mailbox - which is REALLY convenient
for browsing. Eudora is free for the downloading.
