Perhaps George Lucas did take notice of all those fans who were angered about there not being a Star Wars: Episode One - The Phantom Menace DVD, with word that he's announced he's finally doing one. According to a number of tipsters checking in with Dark Horizons, Lucas himself placed a call to Los Angeles' KROQ to confirm that his script for the second film is done (which doesn't mean Hales is finished with his draft). In addition, Lucas is said to have added that ILM is currently at work on that much demanded DVD, which will include extra footage. Of course, Lucas didn't give a release date for the DVD, so you may not want to hold your breath waiting for it Lo there do I see my father.
