It's an interesting idea. The only downside I've thought of (and granted, I've dedicated only about 10 seconds of mental processing power at this point) is that this is not how microblogging services work now, so it will take a bit of work on the users' part to get used to it. > Your could hide the link information from the timeline and if people > want to see it they can click a "show links" button.
