I am a noob to statusnet, but definitely not to computers. I see whats happening here tho, you are developing the open source simplest way to communicate online. I want in lol i want to help... Who should i know, how many people are involved? Ive been reading my eyes off fascinated with this project but yes am very new. Am guessing emailed lists work similarly as if twitter worked via email..
Anyway im uploading the script to ftp, got the readme open, realized theres no forum and this is how we do it, got xchat open ready for irc chat lol (recommended?), umm oh just made a mysql database. The thing im scared of most is that i use godaddy and they have curl but no info how to use it on their servers ... So we will see! (Does anyone recommend web hosting they know works with this script?)
