Longer term I was considering replacing it with a new equivalent I'm
adding to PEAR (with PEAR-friendly licensing), but if php-gettext is
being maintained again I've got less of a rush. :)
Even better, 1.0.9 was released today with some fixes. :) Needs a couple
more fixes applied for us before I merge the updates; both now in the
new upstream tracker.
