I could give you the link and end this post with that. But if I do that,
there is no fun. Because there was a time when I had once said that Aamir
doesn't know what to talk to the media and that's the reason he stays away.
I was right in my own way. And you would agree too if you saw those
interviews and stories on the various news channels. Today, Aamir has found
a new avenue of expressing himself to his fans directly. Blog. Yes, Aamir
has started blogging. It might not be the best in terms of presentation of
content (long single paragraph posts) but the content has got whatever you
wanted to know from Aamir. He has come out expressing himself through this
blog.

His first post was on 'first step' obviously! The logical and practical
person that he is, he has started the blog this way. Writing a small
paragraph about the release of Lagaan DVD <http://www.lagaandvd.com/> and in
a typical Aamir fashion doing a reality check! *"My ignorance as a producer
resulted in me signing a contract which restricted me from releasing it for
5 years in India."*

The second post was an experimental piece from him. He was just
experimenting with the various things he could do with a blog and has posted
a Chale Chalo video clip from youtube. It's a nice one.

In his third post, as every blogger feels, he is overwhemed by the fact that
there are people who actually read whatever he writes and comment on it! And
he takes this post up to reply to the comments left behind by his fans in
his second post. He's surprised to see that people actually know about this
blog whereas he hasn't taken any efforts in letting people know that he has
started one. I am sure (if and) when he sees this post, he is going to be
taken aback! His fourth post is mostly dedicated to the same purpose -
answering comment from a previous post - again.

The fifth post is what caught my interest. He has spoken about the detail
that went into creating the character of Bhuvan from Lagaan. Now, that's
because this blog is related to the release of Lagaan DVD. This post is
awesome and merits a must read to know what level of minute detail that goes
into creating such characters! Amazing post! Even his one-liner description
of Akash from DCH, *'Aakash from DCH whose eyes are constantly darting
around. Akash is slouchy, neck jutting forward and twinkling eyes, always
uyp to some mischief*". This is what you expect from an Aamir Khan blog and
it's all there! :)
