Seems like a legitimate usage if you as the site administrator want
click-through stats for links posted on your site. (And if you're a
single-user site, well that'll do you just fine! :)
Definitely useful to be able to do per-user keys though on a larger
community-style site (more identi.ca or twitter-ish). That would require
adding some UI and storage for the user preferences, which is a bit more
work, but could be shared with support for other services as well.
