Do StatusNet support getting the canonical shortened URL directly from source? I've got a news paper that has got it's own short URLs but nobody uses them. However, StatusNet, being cool, should do so. I think it might not be a good idea for the StatusNet-server itself to do this job first, maybe the javascript can go to the page, and check it's parameters, if there is a shortlink-meta-tag, it will use that, if it is a shortened url already (redirect), it will maybe resolve the real URL (or not?) and use that to send into StatusNet for shortening. -- Beste helsing, Odin Hørthe Omdal <odin.om...@gmail.com> http://velmont.no _______________________________________________ StatusNet-dev mailing list StatusNet-dev@lists.status.net http://lists.status.net/mailman/listinfo/statusnet-dev
