Hi at all. I have a question dealing with the incorporation of reply entries into an Atom feed. Firstly i will write a use case for a better understanding of the problem.
I run some tests using two different federated social networks (both implement the OSattus stack): Status.Net and Friendika. Use case: Alice : Status.Net Bob: Friendika Bob subscribes to Alice's updates....firstly, when Bob makes a post, Alice will receive it through pubsubhubbub mechanism and she will publish it in a properly manner. Alice will not incorporate this post in her profile feed, of course!! After that, Alice makes a reply to that post....this post will be send to Bob using Salmon mechanism. Bob, therefore will publish it in the right manner. Now the problem raises: What about Bob personal feed??? Will it contain Alice reply post??? After executing some tests, i notice that Alice reply isn't incorporated in Bob personal atom feed!!! (Is it right???? why????) On the other hand, i notice that reply posts are incorporated in the SOURCE profile feed, if a make tests using two Friendika account!! Who is right?? -- *Politecnico di Torino* *Andrea Messina*
