Greetings - I am running StatusNet 0.9.6. I tried to use the “SILENT” option to prevent SPAM, which worked great; however, having the SILENT option turned on will prevent new users to login to my site via Twitter or Facebook. And as soon as I turned it on, I received about 60 notices in less than a minute as if they were sitting somewhere on the queue waiting for me to release them.
It would have been nice if StatusNet has a checkbox option where I can check all the Spammers at once and Block/Silence them at once, but that option is not there. *Plan-B: *Since I have the list of all the UserNames, I’d like for someone to help me put a query together to Block, Sandbox & Silence them at once; and it would be great if I can delete all their Notices in one shot as well. Am I asking too much :-) Thank you. @AJ
