Hello, I'm Ramindu Deshapriya, a 3rd Year IT Student at the University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka. I came across StatusNet a while back as an interesting FOSS application which provides a microblogging platform. I would like to apply for GSoC 2011 through StatusNet by going forward with the project for Schedule Notice Delivery. I have no previous experience with StatusNet, however, I have downloaded the source code and am looking at it at the moment. I have a large amount of experience working with PHP and JavaScript, and have worked on projects such as Joomla, even making it on to the Joomla 1.6 credits list. I would love to broaden my horizons by working on StatusNet for GSoC 2011. First of all I would like to know, is there any implementation for a scheduling service currently available in StatusNet?
