Dear all - I recently joined the list and here I am to introduce myself. My
name is Giuseppe (a.k.a. Pippo) Bianco, 52 years old, Italian. I have a degree
in Astronomy and work for the Italian Space Agency as head of the Space Geodesy
Center located in Matera, Italy. I have a lifelong experience in active amateur
astronomy, while from the professional point of view I mainly deal with
technological and operational activieties for high precision positioning using
space techniques (satellite and lunar laser ranging, very long baseline
interferometry, global navigation satellite systems) for geodesy and
geodynamics. I speak native italian and I have a decent knowledge of english.
If needed, I'll be available to contribute to Stellarium which is a beautiful
project.
