I am also a bit confused. The windows release could be either version 4909 or 
4912. I compiled both and passed them on to Alexander.
I have not heard from Matthew or Fabien about an official release although I 
think it will be official.

and the download link in stellarium.org will download a 0.11.0 version.


The stellarium.org website also mentions features in version 0.11.0.


So I assumed its official.
