I have been reading the various proposals being put forward of things that
could be done as a project for Stellarium. While there are some interesting
ideas there are no proposals to work on the features that are required to
release that big aim:- Stellarium version 1.0.0
Many of these requirements were set more than three years ago and there has
been almost no work done since. Some of these tasks are on the hands of members
of the team who are not active at the moment and I think these should be a top
priority for someone else to work on as well.
When Fabien started the project all those years ago he had definite ideas as to
the direction that the program should follow and the project basics for the
target release of version 1.0.0 were mapped out.
So how about reading the task spreadsheet and looking to tackle some of these
tasks.
