Hello!
Current base_locations.bin.gz file contains data about light pollution
(Bortle Scale Index) and TZ for locations. Of course we don't used this
data in Stellarium yet. Bogdan work for TZ support now, but for light
pollution no have any developers.
I guess we should use this data but we should solve one principal question
now - how we will enable this data? Right now we can used light pollution
settings from application settings or from landscape settings (of course if
it enabled). Should we add some checkbox "Use light pollution from location
data" and use old system settings by default if that checkbox not checked?
Or maybe we should use light pollution data from location data by default
and add checkbox "Define custom light pollution" if user want custom value
for light pollution?
Any ideas?
