Hello all
I know this has been covered on the list before. So apologies if I am
covering old ground.
My hard drive died on me just before V3.8 was released. So, when I got
my new HD, I re-installed V3.0 and upgraded using the V3.0 to V3.8
patch from aminet.
Since I upgraded to 3.8, when I use ST fax as an answer machine, it
will not "pick up" an incoming call.
I watch as it indicates onscreen that it is answering but it never
actually does. When the incoming caller gives up (ie me on my
mobile!), the screen changes to "recording message" but obviously, it
isn't, since I gave up.
Try as I might, I cannot remember what the solution was. can anyone
help?
My settings are as follows:
unit - 0 ; Rings - 2; Not Shared.
Auto Answer Ticked, Fax/Voice Mode.
