Hey, you make me sound like Superman, a man on a mission or something! :)
I haven't really done anything at all - Simone is the one who coded
STFax, and he's made a very good job of it too. I can appreciate how
tough it is to make such a program, let alone making it work 100%
correctly in every single case. I dread to think how many hours he's
spent working on it.

It's just that it gets to me when I encounter a problem with software (be
it STFax, or something else) when I know it can probably be fixed. I
won't pretend to know that I know much about fax formats, etc, but I
I know quite a bit about the ins and outs of comms, and I believe that
the speckled faxes problem can be resolved relatively easily - the way
the download is implemented just needs to be done in a different way.

Continually whinging about problems won't do any good - probably has the
reverse effect in the long run. Anyway, getting back on topic, I just
wish either Chris and/or Simone would get this problem sorted - maybe
my suggestions won't work either, but it's worth a try IMHO.
