Sri Lankan Govt now knows that the world is watching them. They cannot mess around with the Tamil populace. Just wait for the terrorists to be cleaned out and then, make all the noise you want. The Srilankan Govt will be forced to develop the North and North East of that country.
By the way, the Tamil population in these areas is less than 50% of the total Tamil population of Srilanka. It is not the the Tamils are being targetted as much as the Terrorist element is. So if we believe Terrorism is the scrouge of a nation, its name is LTTE in Srilanka.
