To all interested in carving Indiana Limestone: The 4th Annual Limestone Sculpture Symposium will be held June 18-24, 2000, in the heart of southern Indiana's limestone country. This week long event includes individual instruction for all levels of carvers, workshops, eight cubic feet of top quality limestone, air and power connections, a tour of a stone mill and quarry, evening talks and slide presentations,and breakfast and lunch on site. It is held on the grounds of the Bybee Stone Co,Ellettsville, IN, nationally known for its architectural carving work. Workshops will include letter cutting, splitting, and working by hand for beginners and advanced carvers. The cost is $575.00.
