I can certainly recommend the workshops run by the
Portland Sculpture Trust. I went down to Portland for a
week last summer and found it an invaluable experience.
Because the courses are set within a disused quarry, you
are surrounded by the whole "culture" of stone masonry
which you may find interesting.
