Can anybody tell me where to get really comprehensive information about lewis's? Can one buy a 3-legged lewis anywhere in the u.k.? I want to lift blocks of portland whitbed 1.5 tons, 2000mm x 600mm x 480mm. The length is the 2000mm and the hight 600mm. There is raised lettering on the front face 120mm deep so that the width of the block is only 360mm in some places. Any one got comparable experience? I've got a thin one 240mm wide same lettering to lift also only .75 ton .Slings? Simon Buchanan. ............................................
