I have a set, white pink and blue stone burrs.
I think they are rated
pink-course
blue-medium
white soft
I've never gotten past using the pink. It was long lasting and
worked well. The ones I have are small (3/8' long) so they
work for small spaces. I may use them instead of a sharp chisel
if I'm afraid of breaking the stone. But I prefer to use the chisels
I hope this helps.
>I have seen a Dremel-like set of burs. They come in
>three colours: white, pink, and grey. What do they mean?
>And what specific use do the various shapes have -
>conical, spherical, cut-off cones, etc.?
>Is it worth buying the set (it is quite inexpensive)?
