Hi All, I have a Newbie Putty Question: Needed to complete my commits. What is the best way to access my local file system while I am in a Putty session.
One way is to make a loopback adapater and net use.... I cannot believe there isn't a built in function in the putty shell. I remember mounting drives in the file system back in old SSH-Linux life I am having trouble with the net use syntax to connect back to the session. C:\> net use * \\10.0.0.1\c$ /user:10.0.0.1\administrator password I get System error 53 has occurred. The network path was not found. Yet I can ping it by IP and Name.... Additional data: Server 2008, I have even tried disabling UserControl Any help greatly appreaciated! Thanks Drew
