Tracking downloads of code out of svn is probably not an easy task. Depending on the version of svn client, and whether the client uses serf or neon, the interaction with the server can be very chatty or not. Thus, hit counts are useless. I suppose you could track IP addresses.
If you want to play with the logs from the US side, they are all available on people.apache.org in: /x1/logarchive/eris The logs for the eu mirror are at: /x1/logarchive/harmonia Good luck mining that data. :-) I think we generally get about 2 million hits a day in svn, but that might be combined US+EU.
