YUGOSLAVIA:
EXPENSIVE
POLITICAL PROSTITUTION?
Western
countries continue to demonstrate their full approval for
Yugoslavian authorities. It must be remembered, that after all
the events entailed Slobodan Milosevic’s overthrow the
USA
agreed to “help”
Yugoslavia to
restore the economy ruined by bombing. And now one more piece
of news. World Bank and European Union have taken a decision
to render financial aid to
Yugoslavia.
Milosevic costs more, than 30 silver coins: European Union
gives to Yugoslavia 450
millions, and World Bank – 580 millions.
This decision
seems to be taken without any connection with present-day
political events – during an international conference in
Brussels
devoted to help to
Yugoslavia.
Though this coincidence is remarkable. And it was not the
first time, when things like that happen. But what is more
interesting, that
Yugoslavia has
resign itself with the role of an
expensive prostitute. At the today’s conference Vice
Prime-Minister of Yugoslavian Government Mirolub Labus
announced Serbian authorities’ decision about extradition of
Slobodan Milosevic gave to international community a chance to
help Yugoslavia in
restoring its economy.
So, it has used this chance.
