Presumably, in this case, (since these Balkan states are being groomed for NATO 'club membership' - and Russians are still, unofficially, seen as 'bad-guys') such a system of ethnic-segregation appears unremarkable to Western powers and meets with their full approval?... Thus inviting curious speculation as to what further vilification Serbs in general and Milosevic in particular might have been subjected to... IF precisely the same stricture had been applied in Kosovo! Where, prior to 1940, the ethnic mix was very different to what it had become by the final decade of the 20th century. Plus, how that would have effected media talk of "Albanian majorities" - and whether or not it may have impinged-upon, or alterantively, spurred-up, NATO's clear intention to bomb Yugoslavia...? Hey-ho... Western "Humanitarianism" seeing-double - again...!
