I know, it doesn't look good folks. Especially two
years after NATO and the KLA brought law and order,
peace and prosperity, ethnic harmony and universal
agape to the previously 'unruly province.'
But for anyone thinking of a lucrative (with a lot of
percs, few legal in one's homeland) career as a KFOR
information officer, think of the challenges to a
creatively-minded spinmeister.
Suggested slogans, new and recycled: Freedom isn't
pretty. Ask not what your narco-trafficking allies can
do for you....At least some of them are still alive.
We didn't lose a single soldier. It was better to stop
Yugoslavia in Yugoslavia than to fight them on our
beaches. We haven't lost a single soldier in
Macedonia. Greece isn't worth a single American
grenadier. Ah, hell, we've done our job by bombing the
place, let the natives sort it out.
